TWO YOUNG WOMEN DROWNED.

A young woman named Herbert:ion, aged 21, WM drowned on Sunday, while bathing in the river Wanehope, near Langholm, Dumfriesshire. Another young woman who was bathing hi h r at. the time .also drowned in attempting 10 rescue her. Their bodies were afterwards recovered.
