An escape was made from Walton Gaol on Monday, possessing some features in common with that of Jackson, the Strangeways Gaol murderer. The hero of Liverpool was James Lynch, a sailor, who was sentenced at the last Liverpool Assizes, for robbery, to eighteen months' imprisonment.
