Discover marriages in Manitoba! This index of events covers the entire province and documents marriages that are more than 80 years in the past.
The Province of Manitoba records marriages, along with births and deaths, as part of their Vital Statistics Agency. They are responsible for administering and enforcing the "Vital Statistics Act," the "Marriage Act," "The Change of Name Act," and processing disinterments under the "Public Health Act." In this database, you will find marriages that occurred more than 80 years ago.

Certified copies of the original record are available for purchase for genealogical purposes through the Manitoba Vital Statistics Agency website (https://vitalstats.gov.mb.ca/Query.php). There is a fee for this service.
